By moving beyond the constraints of traditional general practice, this model gives doctors more time with patients, structured support, and the chance to focus on meaningful health outcomes. The Role Based in residential aged care facilities, this role offers an opportunity to practice medicine in a calm, patient-focused environment. You’ll work within a close-knit clinical team that includes: • A Registered Nurse to support you during rounds. • A consulting Geriatrician for complex case input. • A proactive admin team that handles scheduling and paperwork. • An after hours team to support you so when you finish work for the day, you can really finish work! Your day will include regular resident reviews, collaborative care planning, and a mix of acute and chronic care management. This is a unique setting that allows GPs to focus on quality over quantity, with no pressure to push through high volumes.
