• Medical X-Ray Imaging Systems • Mobile C-Arm • Brisbane based Our client is a supplier of world leading Mobile C-Arm systems, used for a variety of diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive surgeries. They are a specialised service provider that has been providing fast, efficient, cost-effective service and repairs to Mobile C-Arm systems for more than forty years. Currently they have an opening in Brisbane for an experienced field service engineer in the medical device industry, ideally with experience in Medical X-ray Imaging. We require an enthusiastic, independent worker with strong communication skills, able to provide technical service and advice to client queries. Essential criteria: • Qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering • Field service experience within the medical device industry • Experience interfacing software to electronic hardware. • Outstanding electronic hardware and software fault finding ability. • Demonstrated attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability for good written and verbal communication. • Be highly motivated and well presented. • Be a positive and resourceful team player. • Demonstrate good customer relations and communication skills. • Relevant EPA licence/s (preferable). • Current QLD Drivers Licence. • Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents only will be considered. The role: • Liaise with hospital staff: Theatre Managers, Surgeons, Radiologists & Hospital Engineers. • Service/repair mobile C-Arm equipment. • Prepare reports. • Be prepared to travel on occasions throughout Australia. • Travel overseas for training as required. Previous experience in the Medical X-Ray Imaging field is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
